Come join our ohana! Our Field Representatives team is a critical function of the company moving products that Hawaii people use daily to retailer shelves across the islands.
Field Representative (Full-Time) Kauai Island The Field Representative is responsible for servicing and selling to retail accounts within an assigned territory to ensure client standards are met and volume is increased.
Work is completed within set times and days each week.
You will be working with leading global consumer brands in national and local retailers in the Hawaii market (Kauai island).
Primary Duties:
Increase sales volume by identifying and addressing distribution and replenishment issues.
Merchandising product by moving from retailer receiving areas to store shelves.
Ensure assortment integrity and verify newly authorized items are set into store distribution via approved planogram.
Drive promotional sales by suggesting quantities needed and request secondary display activity.
Aid in inventory control by identifying incremental sales opportunities.
Ensure all authorized items are in distribution in accordance with client's shelf standards with appropriate signage.
Foster positive and productive customer relationships with store teams by providing excellent customer service.
Communicate all competitive activity and necessary client information to supervisor as necessary.
Provide all administrative requirements on a timely basis (store orders, call reports, store audits, mileage reports, etc.
).
Write orders, provide recommendations and share short presentations and correspondence with retail contacts.
Positive-attitude and self-starter responsive to customer requests.
Able to work independently with little to no supervision.
Possess strong organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently.
Requirements:
Preferred minimum of 3 years sales and marketing work experience.
If you don't have experience but have a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow, let's talk! High school graduate or equivalent required.
Preferred - Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel) Able to lift 50 lbs.
Have good verbal and written communication skills.
Able to use an iPad.
Must have a valid driver's license and car to visit customers in assigned territory.
Must provide a driver's abstract and evidence of insurability.
Must take and pass a pre-employment drug test.
